Practicing gratitude has been life changing for me. In the midst of any storm, it reminds me to be grateful for even the little things. I feel a sense of peace and serenity as I remind myself of the simple things. Writing daily in my Gratitude Journal keeps me focused on my goals.
I remember when I first started practicing gratitude. I would open my journal and just stare at the page thinking, " what do I write about?" It took me some time to figure out that you don't have to think hard about what you are grateful for. I simply wrote about how good the cup of coffee was that I was drinking as I was practicing my gratitude.
Take time out of your busy day to take some deep breaths, and just be thankful!
